The trailer is rented for the dates you select at the daily rate shown at booking. The rental period begins when the trailer leaves our yard (or is delivered) and ends when it is returned to our possession in the agreed condition. Rates are quoted per day unless otherwise stated.
A refundable security deposit is collected in connection with each rental. The deposit is returned after the trailer is inspected at return and confirmed free of damage beyond normal wear, with no outstanding charges. If damage, loss, cleaning, or late fees apply, they may be deducted from the deposit, and any amount exceeding the deposit remains the Renter's responsibility.
Payment is accepted by card, cash, or check. Charges may include the rental total, security deposit, delivery (if selected), and any damage, cleaning, or late fees incurred. All payments and their method are recorded for your receipt.
You must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver's license. You are responsible for providing a tow vehicle rated to safely tow the loaded trailer, a properly sized and rated hitch and ball, working safety chains, and functioning trailer lights and brakes where required. You are responsible for confirming your vehicle and equipment are legal and adequate before towing.
The trailer's condition is photographed at pickup and again at return, and those photos are recorded with a timestamp. These records are the shared reference for any damage question. You are encouraged to review the pickup photos and raise any concern before towing.
You may not: overload the trailer beyond its rating; transport hazardous, illegal, or improperly secured materials; sublet, lend, or transfer the trailer to anyone else; use the trailer off-road beyond its design; remove or disable required lighting or safety equipment; or use the trailer in any illegal activity. Prohibited use voids the rental and may result in full liability for resulting loss.
You are responsible for the trailer from pickup until return, including damage beyond normal wear, loss, theft, or damage caused by improper loading, overloading, or unsafe towing. You agree to report any damage, accident, or theft to us promptly. Repair or replacement costs, supported by an estimate or invoice, are the Renter's responsibility.
Towing and hauling are done at your risk. Your own vehicle insurance and any applicable liability coverage are primary for towing the trailer and for any property or cargo you transport. We do not provide insurance for your load or your towing operation.
You assume responsibility for safe towing, road-legal hitching and lighting, load securement, and compliance with the law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to hold harmless and indemnify Regulator Logistics against claims, citations, injuries, or damages arising from your use of the trailer, except those caused by our own gross negligence. Our liability is limited to the amounts paid for the rental.
Return the trailer by the agreed date and time. Late returns are billed at the applicable daily rate for each additional day (or part of a day) until the trailer is returned, and may affect deposit return.
Reservations may be cancelled up to 48 hours before the scheduled pickup at no charge. Cancellations within 48 hours of pickup are charged one day's rental rate. No rental payment is charged until pickup is confirmed. No-shows may forfeit any prepaid amount.
If a damage or charge dispute arises, it is reviewed against the timestamped pickup and return photos and the payment record. We will work with you in good faith to resolve it promptly and fairly based on that documentation.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of North Dakota, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in North Dakota.
By typing your full legal name and checking the agreement box at booking, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these terms, and that your typed name constitutes a legally binding electronic signature with the same effect as a handwritten signature. Your acceptance, the version of these terms, and their content are recorded for both parties' reference.
These terms are the entire agreement between you and Regulator Logistics for the rental and supersede any prior understanding. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect.
